This time a wine from Nagy-Somló, a wine region north of the Balaton lake.

As mentioned in my posts, the soil is full of minerals, and there is no lack of it in this wine. The wine was 60% fermented in stainless steel vats and 40% in oak casks for 9 months. Therefor you also detect light oak smells.
Next to the elegant taste of the minerals you also have hints of citrus fruits.

All in all this wine is very elegant and extremely well priced.
