Today I will be writing another article of wine that is made by Orsolya Pince, this time it will be a red one.

More info about the winery you can find in an older post which is located here.

We think this wine is from 2012, the reason we are not sure about it is cause there is no date on the bottle and the info on the internet is very little. So forgive me if the year is not correct, I rather go by the nice a colorful label for the Hetedhét wines 🙂 .

This is a quite young wine, the color is very light, I added a picture of it to give you a better idea.

It’s a cuvée (a blend) made from Cabernet Franc and Zweigelt, although some sources told me there might be some Kékfrankos (Blaufränkisch), Merlot, Syrah and Pinot Noir in it as well, but this is not confirmed.  They aged separately for two years in oak barrels. There is cherry in the smell and taste with light hints of forest mushroom. It’s a very light wine and has gentle acids.

I paid 1700 HUF for this bottle, which is roughly 5.50 euros. I suggest if you see any sort of wine from this winery to buy it and try it, cause it’s such small winery the stock is limited and I can assure you, you will not be disappointed.
