Hello everyone! It has been over a year since I have last posted something on my blog. A lot has happened in the last 13 months since I’ve last wrote here and I am planning to change that! A lot of good things have happened and also a couple of less positive things hit me. Lets kick off with some positive things, shall we?
I’ve joined Classic Tokaj, a winery I’ve previously wrote about in the past as a volunteer sales manager. They needed someone to show their wines to restaurants/bars or just to be able to attend wine tastings in their name, so they asked me! The job is teaching me lots of new things and shows me a different perspective on some subjects. You shall see a little more articles about their wines soon!
I’ve started my Wine and Spirit level 3 course as well last year, but decided to re-do the classes in London. I personally pick up the most theory in class and use other methods at home for studying. Unfortunately I underestimated how hard it would be to do it in Hungarian with only having my official WSET book and tastings in English. Nevertheless I’ve learned tons and will just do an intensive course when I’m visiting London.
To be continued..
Something non wine related, me and my wife got a dog! More exact a miniature dachshund! The little one joined us last summer, her name is Kira and she is obviously a lady! (I hope you enjoy the picture I attached!) I’m pretty sure more will follow on Instagram.
That all sounds great, but what else happened?
Without going into much detail about it, I had to deal with a gaming addiction. Online games have always been a big part of my life, it is where I’ve met most of my best friends but in the last year it took over my life. With games like World of Warcraft it creeps up on you and before you realize it, you arrange your day around the game and not the other way around. Luckily enough I managed to break free from it!
Hopefully I will be able to entertain you again with my articles! Make sure to also follow Instagram for daily pictures, they are mostly wine or travel related!
I would like to thank the people that always told me to come back and write, that enjoyed reading what I wrote. It really helped me to find the way back!
